Why this program exists
I was that man. Here is what changed everything.
I wasn’t always who you see today. I was a college student working janitorial jobs and restaurant shifts, doing well academically, but living with a heart split in two. I knew what Islam required of me. I also knew what I was doing. And for years, I could not close that gap.
The anxiety was real. The emptiness after Ramadan was real. The friendships I had to walk away from, those were real losses. I chose a major my parents wanted. I worked jobs with no barakah. And I kept going through the motions of a Muslim life without actually living one.
A trusted Imam looked me in the eye and said: “His tawbah has to be sincere. Not performed. SINCERE.” That landed somewhere deep.
Then came a dawn I will never forget, alone in a park, crying in prayer, when something in the sky shifted in a way that made the reality of meeting Allah feel immediate and undeniable. I knew I could not keep living the way I was living.
I spent everything I had on Umrah. I barely had money for food. I went anyway. When I came back, the problem that had almost stopped me from going had vanished completely, as if it had never existed. After that came clarity. Purpose. Resilience. A life I could be proud to show Allah.
None of it was mine. All of it was Allah’s. And that is exactly what I want to help you find. Not my path, but yours.
